Hi, I'm Yiunfan Hu. I am currently an undergrad mechanical engineering student at Stony Brook University. I primarily like to design and build things involving robots and machines. My current obsessions, and most recent projects, are in electric vehicles and combat robots.
I am self taught in CAD and started learning with my first 3D printer in late middle school, and have been honing those skills since. Throughout high school, I was a part of a FIRST Robotics team, assisted with teaching several STEM classes, and started building combat robotics with a small team of friends. Now in college, I am currently doing research in the Soft Flyers Group and am a part of the Stony Brook Robotics Team.
Apart from mechanical engineering adjacent skills, I am also proficient in coding and basic electronics. I also enjoy sewing and composing music.
